Salary schedule in Poland 09/2025

The median salary in the national economy in September 2025 was 7145.33 PLN, which means that half of the employed received a salary not higher than this amount, and the other half not lower. The value of the median salary varied depending on gender – for men it was 7400.00 PLN (103.6% of the total value), while among women it was 6956.10 PLN (97.4% of the total value).

In September 2025, the lowest 10% of earners received a salary not exceeding 4666.00 PLN (first decile). In contrast, the highest 10% of earners received a salary of at least 13565.16 PLN (ninth decile)

The average salary in the national economy in September 2025 was 8649.13 PLN, among men – 9032.91 PLN, which accounted for 104.4% of the average salary overall, while among women – 8255.75 PLN, or 95.5% of the average salary overall.

• By age of the employed, the highest average salary was recorded in the age group of 65 years and older – 9139.72 PLN (105.7% of the total value), and the lowest in the age group of 24 years and younger – 6397.65 PLN (74.0% of the total value).

• Considering the size of the entity, the highest average salary was recorded in entities with a workforce of 1000 or more persons – 10055.01 PLN (116.3% of the total value), and the lowest in entities with a workforce of 5 or fewer persons – 5818.43 PLN (67.3% of the total value).

• The average salary was also differentiated by ownership sector. In the public sector, it was 9241.14 PLN, which accounted for 106.8% of the total value, while in the private sector it was equal to 8378.60 PLN – 96.9% of the total value.

In September 2025, the largest difference in the median gross salary between the public and private sectors occurred in the section of Agriculture, forestry, hunting, and fishing, amounting to 4644.12 PLN.
