BSS Salary Report 2026
The BSS sector in Poland is in a phase of redefinition and transformation. After years of dynamic growth based on scale and simple processes, the industry is shifting to a model based on technology and high specialization.
Employment: Business services centers currently employ 488,700 people in 2,081 centers. Employment increased by 6.2% compared to the previous year.
Value instead of volume: Organizations are moving away from simple transactional processes toward centers of excellence that carry out advanced analytical and strategic tasks
Recruitment processes: The market has become more demanding. Recruitment processes have lengthened by an average of 15 days compared to 2024, and companies are more often implementing hiring freezes (freeze), focusing on flexible forms of employment (outsourcing, temporary projects).
Impact of AI: Artificial intelligence is taking over entry-level and mid-level tasks, forcing a change in the employee profile toward "digital nativeness." It is estimated that by 2030, about 40% of current skills will require updating.
Warsaw and Kraków: They remain leaders in terms of number of employees and the level of salaries offered.
The report indicates specific positions for which demand is highest:
IT: Python Developer, DevOps Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer.
Customer Service: Specialists with German, French, and Nordic languages.
Supply Chain: Supply Chain Specialist/Analyst, Buyer, Demand Planning Specialist.
ESG: A clear increase in demand for roles related to non-financial reporting (CSRD/ESRS)

Finance and Accounting (FP&A):
Warsaw: Specialist: 11,000 – 14,000 PLN; Manager: 25,000 – 32,000 PLN.
Kraków: Specialist: 8,000 – 10,500 PLN; Manager: 17,000 – 22,000 PLN.
Wrocław/Gdańsk: Specialist: 7,500 – 11,000 PLN; Manager: 17,000 – 21,000 PLN.
IT Processes:
Service Desk (1st Line): Warsaw/Kraków: approx. 6,500 – 9,500 PLN.
Project Manager: Warsaw/Kraków: 18,000 – 27,000 PLN.
SAP Functional Consultant: 17,000 – 30,000 PLN (depending on the city).
Supply Chain (Demand Planning):
Specialist: Warsaw: 11,000 – 14,000 PLN; Kraków: 7,500 – 9,000 PLN
