Author: Hays

According to the 2026 Salary Report, prepared by the personnel consulting agency Hays Poland, the percentage of companies planning recruitment remains high and close to that recorded a year ago. However, one in five organizations indicates structural changes as the reason for the expected recruitments. Companies are undergoing technological transformation and adjusting their strategies to current challenges. In practice, this means changing competency demands, which affect HR decisions and wage trends.

Key findings:

  • 84% of companies plan to recruit in 2026 - almost the same as a year earlier

  • One in five organizations recruits due to structural changes, not just growth or turnover

  • The most sought-after will be experienced operational employees, sales specialists, IT, and engineering

  • 47% of employers still expect recruitment difficulties

  • 74% of companies plan to raise salaries, but only 5% will exceed 10%

  • Only 39% of professionals are currently satisfied with their salary

🤖 Transformation driven by digitalization and the development of AI is changing competency demands. The following are gaining importance:
    ✔️ business and analytical skills
    ✔️ technical skills
    ✔️ soft and leadership skills
