ManpowerGroup: Talent shortage
Close to 6 out of 10 employers have difficulty attracting talent.

According to the ManpowerGroup report "Talent Shortage", 57% of Polish employers admit that they face difficulties in acquiring new employees. This is 2 percentage points lower than last year, and the rate has been decreasing for 5 years. However, this does not mean that the pressure in the market is decreasing. Its nature is changing.
The biggest recruitment challenges are indicated by companies in the information and communication sector (67%), hospitality, gastronomy, and tourism (63%), as well as industrial manufacturing (61%). This marks a change compared to 2025, when talent shortages were most often felt in the transport, logistics, and automotive sectors (71%), natural sciences and healthcare (67%), and also in industry and raw materials (61%).
Just like last year, it is most difficult to find candidates with engineering skills. Currently, 21% of companies mention this. In second place is the area of sales and marketing (19%), which has moved up from 7th place in 2025. In third place is practical knowledge of AI tools (18%), which appears in the ranking for the first time. Another 17% complain about a lack of skills in creating AI-based models and applications, which is also a novelty in this year's survey. The same number of companies point to shortages in the field of production and manufacturing (down from 4th place in 2025).
