The activity of specialists and managers in the labor market

This year's study indicates the stabilization of trends that we have observed in recent years (lower average wage increases, a smaller proportion of people declaring an improvement in their professional situation, and a decrease in the willingness to relocate among specialists and managers). At the same time, the market remains dynamic, as evidenced by the increasing number of invitations to recruitment processes and the frequency of participation in them. Despite these increases, only one third of respondents declare that they are actively looking for a job.

  • Over the past 5 years, there has been a steady decrease in the percentage of respondents reporting an improvement in their professional situation in the labor market within one year. 26% of respondents reporting an improvement in their professional situation is a decrease of 5 p.p. compared to the year 2024.

  • More people are indicating a decrease in salary (9%, an increase of 5 p.p.), fewer respondents report receiving a raise (-17 p.p.), and the raises received are lower than in the previous year. The downward trend applies to all sectors of the market.

  • In the last year, the average number of invitations to participate in recruitment processes among specialists and managers increased from 3 to 5.

  • Compared to the previous year, there is a slight increase in the percentage of respondents among specialists and managers who actively seek to change jobs – 35% (+ 4 p.p.). 48% of respondents are not actively looking for a job but do not ignore offers that come to them. The percentage of people who are not looking for a job and ignore all invitations to participate in recruitment processes is 17% (+2 p.p.).

  • 90% of respondents would consider remote work with an employer who does not have a seat in their city, including 70% in both Poland and abroad, 19% only in Poland, and 1% only abroad.
