Foreigners working in Poland 09/2025

On the last day of September 2025, there were 1,128.9 thousand foreigners working in Poland, which is 7.2% more than in September 2024. Compared to the previous month, their number increased by 2.3%.

On the last day of September 2025, 1,128.9 thousand foreigners worked in Poland, which is 7.2% more than in September 2024. Compared to the previous month, their number increased by 2.3%. 

In the analyzed population of foreigners, the majority were men ‒ their share was 59.9% – 0.1 percentage points more than a year earlier and 0.2 percentage points more than at the end of August 2025.

Compared to September 2024, among foreigners working in Poland, the number of both women and men increased – by 7.1% and 7.4% respectively. Compared to August 31, 2025, the number of women increased by 1.9%, while the number of men increased by 2.7%.

As of September 30, 2025, among foreigners working, 437.4 thousand people were engaged solely in commission contracts and related agreements. This was 7.4% more than in September 2024 and 3.0% more than the previous month.
